IRrelevant Astronomy is a video produced by NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope. The content included has all incorporated animation in some manner, and generally tends to be comedic. The “IR” in the title stands for “infrared”, thus the title actually refers to “infrared-relevant astronomy”.

Science@ESA video podcasts explore the extraordinary Universe in which we live as it is seen through the “eyes” of ESA’s fleet of science spacecraft.

Audio Podcasts

The 365 Days of Astronomy Podcast is a project that will publish one podcast per day, 5 to 10 minutes in duration, for all 365 days of 2009 and now 2010. The project was started as part of the International Year of Astronomy 2009. The podcast episodes are written, recorded and produced by people around the world.

Astronomy Cast is a weekly educational non-profit podcast discussing various topics in the field of astronomy. The specific subject matter of each episode shifts from week to week, ranging from planets and stars to cosmology and myth-busting.

Are We Alone? From amoebas to androids to antimatter, Are We Alone weaves together humour and compelling interviews into themed programmes about the biggest ideas in evolutionary biology, genetics, paleontology, technology, and physics – as well as cosmology and astronomy. Are We Alone is a one-hour program, produced by the SETI Institute and broadcast and podcast every week.
